Youth groups will have access to all 6 hangars, and the 80 acres of outdoor displays during their visit. Please note that all Youth groups are self-guided through the museum unless you have arranged for a private class or tour. Maps are available upon entry. Groups must also book a minimum of 7 days in advance to receive the discount.\u00a0<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Students: $5.00<br \/>Chaperones within Ratio: $5.00<br \/>Extra Chaperones: $22.50 (Regular Admission Rates)<\/p>\n<p><strong>There will be no school\/youth group visit availability during the month of March.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>CHAPERONES RATIO:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>K \u2013 3rd Grade: 1 Chaperone per 5 Students<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>4th \u2013 12th Grade: 1 Chaperone per 10 Students<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Groups will need to adhere to our minimum number of chaperones for their age group.<\/p>\n<p>All chaperones responsible for a child\/group of children, regardless of whether you are a parent of the child or not, must fill out and turn in a chaperone agreement form. These forms can be found at the bottom of the page.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Any extra adult chaperones outside of the ratio set by the museum will be charged the regular admission rates.<\/p>\n<p>All groups are allotted one adult outside the chaperone ratio to be the School\/group organizer. This person is responsible for making sure their chaperones are successfully managing their groups and helping with behavior issues if needed. This person should also be the group contact for the museum on the day of the visit. They need to fill out a Teacher\/organizer agreement found at the bottom of this page.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Parents are considered chaperones and must be included in the chaperone ratio count.<\/p>\n<h2>LUNCH<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Sack Lunches<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pima Air and Space Museum does not allow outside food on museum premises, however, there is an outside picnic area in our parking lot that groups can use.<\/li>\n<li><strong>We do not reserve this area; it is first come, first serve.<\/strong><br \/>School groups will be allowed to reenter the museum if they leave to go eat lunch in the picnic area.<\/li>\n<li>The schools are responsible for transporting their lunches to and from the picnic area.<\/li>\n<li>Pima Air and Space Museum cannot store lunches for schools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pre-ordered Lunch from the Flight Grill<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Groups must complete the lunch form a minimum of 5 business days prior to your visit and booking must be done via our online booking system.<\/li>\n<li>We offer a box lunch option for school groups for $7 per student lunch.<\/li>\n<li>To order boxed lunches, please email schooltours@pimaair.org.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Lunch from the Flight Grill<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If your group is planning on visiting the Flight Grill but not pre-ordering meals. Please indicate that on the booking form, to help expedite your food orders.<\/li>\n<li>Please make sure you look over the Flight Grill Rules on your Teacher Agreement forms and that the chaperones understand all rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Due to an increase in incidents involving theft and damage to museum property, students may not bring backpacks onto museum grounds.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>All student bags must be left on the bus; the museum will not store bags.<\/strong> Teachers and chaperones are allowed one bag each.
